I'm liking this so far. The art's nice and there's some good humour to be found.
You sometimes miss the mark with the joke though, so several of the comics aren't as funny as they should be. If you focus on improving the delivery of the joke, your comic should get a lot better =)

Glad you're enjoying it. Could you please elaborate on the point you made about missing the mark with the jokes? For example, a comic where I did this and why you thought it missed the mark (be as honest as you like, I immensely treasure criticism). Just so I can have a better idea of how to approach the problem. Thanks for your comment!

Hmm, for instance, in X-scything, I think the joke could have been a lot funnier if the last panel had shown the man attacking Death, rather than having Death walk away with his scyth lodged in his back. Basically, rather than showing the aftermath, you'd show it as it's happening, which I think would probably have a much higher humour value. Of course I could be wrong; personal opinions and all that =P

You are not wrong, we simply have different sense of humor -- I did consider that in X-Scything, but decided to go for the aftermath since I found it funnier. Regardless, I really appreciate your input, and I hope you'll like the next strips. Cheers!

Just to throw my 2c in, in X-Scything I was a bit confused as to what had happened to the man in the end. Death had come to collect him, he scythed Death (apparently doing no serious harm) and what, Death just left him there?

Personally I find "show the after-effects" funny too, but in this case ending on the action would've avoided those hanging questions.
